My Holidays.

In the holidays, me and my family went to a lovely restaurant which was in the Auckland City called Fortuna. When we were there the first thing I ate was pork with brown, yummy gravy and a chunk of fat salty fries, It was really delicious.

After eating that I went to this lovely place in Fortuna where you could get your dessert from. The dessert I ate was chocolate brownies with chocolate ice-cream. After that I started to feel full after eating all of those food so then me and my family left Fortuna and it was about 9 o’clock at night when we left.


After leaving Fortuna we went to visit the humungus Sky Tower.
Before we got into the Sky Tower we had to sign something that I don't know about so that we could go into the Sky Tower.

After signing that thing we went to an elevator that took us up to level 51.

When we got to level 51 I excitedly ran to the windows of the Sky Tower so that I could see the whole of Auckland City. While we were at level 51 I looked down and thought I was going to fall like rain falling from the sky but it was just glass floor and I was scared because I am scared of heights. After that I decided to go to the top of the Sky Tower which is level 60.

After getting to level 60 I started taking photos of the Auckland City on my mom's phone and they were really beautiful. After me and my family packed our stuff and went to the bottom of the Sky Tower and then went back home. 

When we got home I looked at the time and saw that the time was about 11:45 and me and my family were really exhausted after a very long time at Fortuna and at the Sky Tower, so then we went to sleep.

Student Led Conference Term 3 & Science Fair.

On Thursday 25th of July me and my family except my dad came to the Student Led Conference.
While me and my mum were walking around my class we were looking at all kinds of science me and Rm 10 have done in the past few weeks.

While me and my mum were walking around the class room we stopped at a table that had a game on it which was called Does It Matter? it was about solids,liquids and gas. So then we started playing the game to the end.

After that my mum and my teacher Miss Chand started having a chat. After that me and my mum left my class room.

I forgot what my learning goal was but its fine:)

Smart Relationships.

A Smart Relationship Is:

Having teamwork.

Using positive words to other people even though you don't know them.

You have to think before you post something on to your blog or on anything else.

The Creature Inside Me.

THE CREATURE INSIDE ME.

There is a furious creature inside of me. It pounds its chest and roars at the door of my mined.

There is an animal inside me,

It eats bananas at the walls of my mined.

It keeps trying to escape when I am alone, the beast inside me will roar and roar.

There is an animal inside me.

When I am with my friends it tries to show off

I am a GORILLA!

It is like a fighter fighting to get out.

It roars loudly and pounds it chest.

There is an animal inside me,

Its body is tough like a body builder.

Its eyes are as green as grass.

It just wont leave me alone,

will I ever be free of this animal in me?

How You Taste Food.

Question/Interesting Fact:
Do you know that when you look at your tongue there are little bumps and they are called papillae?

How You Taste Parts Of The Tongue:
When you zoom closer to your tongue there are red blobs called papillae and your taste buds sit beside it and they contain tiny hair-like projections called microvilli to help you taste.

What Happens When You Have a Cold.
When you have a cold your snot starts to cover up your nose so that when you are eating food you can hardly taste anything because your nose helps you taste. So when you eat food the snot blocks the taste from getting to your olfactory receptors.

Conclusion/What did you learn.
I learnt that when you have a cold and you taste food the snot in your nose blocks the taste from getting to your olfactory receptors.

How electricity works,what transformers are and how to stay safe around electricity.

Fact:
Electricity can travel through air,water and metal.When electricity travels through air that is called arcing.

Transformers:
When you walk or drive on the road or on the path way,do you sometimes see big or small green things in front of homes? They are called Transformers.They transform 11,000 volts into 300 volts so that homes can use it.

How To Stay Safe Around Electricity:
When there is an electricity problem try and stay 10 meters away and warn other people that are close by,and call 911 or 111 then they will call a community called VECTOR.
