The Story About Jesus's Birth.

One day along time ago there was a wise man called Joseph and his wife's name was Mary. One day Mary was getting some water as an angle came down to her and told her that she was going to have a baby, Mary was very shocked and very scared. 

Weeks after it was Mary and Joseph's wedding day. But Joseph didn't want people to make fun of Mary so he cancelled the wedding. At night when Joseph was sleeping an angle had appeared in his dreams and told him to marry Mary and then when the baby is born name him Jesus. After that Joseph married Mary, After that day Jesus was born.

 He was in a shed and was laying down in a bunch of hay. After that two shepherds had came to see Jesus. They were really exited to see Jesus. Once they saw Jesus they started kneeing down to him.

After kneeing down to Jesus they gave Jesus three gifts. First was gold second was frankincense and the third was myrrh. Then the two shepherds left. THE END

Room 10 Term 4 Assembly.

I felt very nervous when our assembly started because I am scared when I talk over a lot of people but then I felt more confident and really proud of me and Room 10 for trying our best.

The thing I did for assembly was talking about Diwali and about a fake photo I have created.

One Thing that went good was us being confident when we went up and talked in front of the whole school.

The other thing is we did good we smiled, we showed integrity and we did a very awesome job.

We can work on reading our parts more better instead of saying oh or ah.

My Trip To Tonga!

My Topic Is My Trip To Or At Tonga!

About 3 weeks ago me, my family and my grandpa went to a lovely country called Tonga .

We woke up at about 5:00 in the morning and me and my siblings were very exhausted and very tired. We were woken up by my mum who said “Hurry up and go brush your teeth” So then me and my siblings went to brush our teeth.

We took about 2 minutes then went shower. I was the first one to go shower because my siblings were too slow. After showering I went into my room and changed into some clothes. I wore a black Nike t-shirt with a white Nike sign on it and a long Pro Club short that was down to my shins.

Then wore some black Nike socks as well. I wore a black Nike Jumper so that I could keep warm. After that me and my family were ready to go. We already had our bags ready.

I had a dark green bag that was packed with a lot of clothes. After that we put our bags into the car and went off to the airport.

Once we got to the airport we showed our passports and stuff till we went on the plane. Finally we were sitting on our seats. There were little ipads stuck on the seats, I was only listening to songs and it took a long time from New Zealand to Tonga.

Finally after 3 whole hours we made it safely to TONGA! When we landed I was very excited to see my family in Tonga because its been 6 years ever since I saw my family in Tonga. After that we saw our family then ran with our bags straight to them. Once we got to them we took a very massive hug.

Then they took us to their house where we will be living. The house was a bit big and me and my family slept in the living room. They gave us two big beds to sleep on, one for my parents and one for me and my siblings.

We met a lot of friends and families in Tonga we had lots of fun. After 3 weeks it was one of my saddest moments of my life it was time to go back to New Zealand, so we went back we said our goodbyes at the airport then hopped on the airplane. We waited another 3 hours then made it back safely to our home.

My favorite part was having fun with my family in TONGA! :)

The Creature Inside Me.

THE CREATURE INSIDE ME.

There is a furious creature inside of me. It pounds its chest and roars at the door of my mined.

There is an animal inside me,

It eats bananas at the walls of my mined.

It keeps trying to escape when I am alone, the beast inside me will roar and roar.

There is an animal inside me.

When I am with my friends it tries to show off

I am a GORILLA!

It is like a fighter fighting to get out.

It roars loudly and pounds it chest.

There is an animal inside me,

Its body is tough like a body builder.

Its eyes are as green as grass.

It just wont leave me alone,

will I ever be free of this animal in me?

How You Taste Food.

Do you know that when you look at your tongue there are little bumps and they are called papillae?

How You Taste Parts Of The Tongue:
When you zoom closer to your tongue there are red blobs called papillae and your taste buds sit beside it and they contain tiny hair-like projections called microvilli to help you taste.

What Happens When You Have a Cold.
When you have a cold your snot starts to cover up your nose so that when you are eating food you can hardly taste anything because your nose helps you taste. So when you eat food the snot blocks the taste from getting to your olfactory receptors.

Conclusion/What did you learn.
I learnt that when you have a cold and you taste food the snot in your nose blocks the taste from getting to your olfactory receptors.

"Hello Kendra".

Hi Kendra this week Glen Taylor School is going to be doing ART cause it's art week. Me and my class, Room 10 are making DIORAMA'S of ENDANGERED ANIMALS and we are making their habitats. The endangered animal I picked was a turtle and we made it out of clay, and the diorama that I am making is the turtle's habitat, where it live's and its food. After that me and my class started making letters for our principal Mr Herlihy, we were asking if he could unblock us from calling you and your wonderful class in Mangonui School. "Do you remember when me and my class tried calling you guys on Google Meet but it didn't work?"."After that the deputy principal Mrs Wrack came in and said that we were unblocked only once a week only for an hour.After that me and my class felt happy,excited and thankful.

Dear Sir,

Please let Room 10 have access on Google Hangout to call our amazing buddy class from mangonui school
so we can learn about their school and about them. We can tell them about our school like the school values.

We promise to use our school values FIRE and ACE. We will only be able to call them every once a
week only for an hour.

Consequence for being silly is to get our Chromebooks taken away for one week.

Plastic’s Everywhere.

“How Could you help the world?”.
We could help the world by picking up rubbish. Plastic is everywhere.


There is something called micro plastic and it is in toothpaste, hair gel,shampoo,face mask and it’s in water. Fish eat micro plastic cause they think that it is plankton. Plankton are tiny creatures that fish eat. Micro plastic is so tiny no one can see it. It can only be seen under a microscope witch is called a microscopic.


After the fish’s eat plastic they start to feel full. But they are not actually full it's because the plastic is stuck in their intestine. Then that plastic starts to tear the fish’s intestine apart. There is chemicals spreading through the airways,ingestion or through touch to fight their way to the human body.



One day in 2012 a group of people found a massive whale dead at the beach. Then they checked the whales stomach and found 30 square meters of tarpaulin, a 4 and a half long hose, a 9 meter rope and two flower pots so don’t litter.
