LCS - Clothing

 

For this LCS task the topic was clothing, I had to answer something of the questions 

on the side and added a picture of my cultural clothing.

For this activity, we had to answer questions that contain our cultural type of music.

It was a really interesting thing to do, I actually got to learn more stuff about my culture like stuff we use for music and what kind of dances we do. Stay safe everyone.

Challenge 23 : Scams and Phishing !

 

For this cybersmart challenge we had to finish a google slide that was given to us to finish.

It was about sites/emails that'll be scams and sites/emails that we know aren't scams.

An important thing I had learnt from this was that whenever you sign into a site, make sure that the padlock sign thats on your top right of your site does not have a red line on it.

This is a little story about a little boy named Tony, 

he went on imaginary adventure on a wagon with his grandad. 

For this activity we had to watch a short clip about tony, after watching' we had to write down the emotions tony had and when they happened.

Challenge 21 : Email Etiquette !

 

For this task was about writing quality emails following proper email etiquette.

It was a very interesting task to do & I hope to do more emails like this in the future. Adios ! 

Challenge 20 : Commenting On Docs !

 

For this task , I learnt how to comment on google docs in so many different ways. We had to make a comment on a random fact , suggestion for a synonym word and write a positive thoughtful , helpful comment. Then lastly we had added in an action request for a friend. On top you can see the screenshots of my work , it was a really fun and entertaining task to do. Stay Safe Everybody !

Challenge 19 : Google Meet Ready !

 

This challenge is all about Google Meet etiquette , making sure we all know what to do and are using Google Meet properly. Stay Safe Everyone :)

Challenge 17 : What Is a Quality Blog Comment ?

 

For todays task , we had learnt more about what a quality comment is and what 

it looks like. On each slide you can see that all sentences are highlighted in a colour , 

we had to find a sentence that represents that word & highlight it with that colour that

it has been given.  Stay safe everyone ! :)

Challenge 16 : Template Poster !

 

For this task, I had to make a poster about myself. I had to get photos of things about me, 

it was an interesting task to finish, the hardest part of this task was trying to find a photo of myself.

For this task, I more about making a quality blog post. It was confusing at 

first but I managed to finish it off with a smile, stay safe everyone ! :)

Challenge 13 : My Digital Footprint !

 

This challenge is to help us understand the concept of a Digital Footprint. Understanding everything we do, and everywhere we go on the internet leaves footprint back to us. Stay safe guys ! :)

Cycle Safety T3 !

 

Yesterday , Room 11 and I had the opportunity to learn more about "Keeping Safe While Biking". Firstly we learnt more on how to out on our helmet & tightening it . Secondly we worked on balancing on our bikes. To do it we pushed ourselves off our bike from one side of the court to the other without peddling. To finish the session off , we went on a ride around the whole court than 1 round around the bike track ! Make sure to always have an helmet when riding a bike, adios ! :)

Olympic Fan Zone Trip !

On Monday, the Glen Taylor seniors (and some middles) had the opportunity to visit the Olympic Fan Zone! It was a very fun experience, we got to know more about the olympics and even got to meet someone who had participated in it as well. She was a boxer who had won the champion ship and has never been knocked out in any of her boxing matches.

 It was really fun getting to research our big question!

Tamaki Korero !

 Today Glen Taylor school are having an up coming event, that up coming event is Tamaki Korero. Tamaki Korero is when each student & their parent come in after school. Parents would be intruduced to the students teachers, then will be welcomed to see what their child has been working on through out the year ! I am so exited to go through this experince, my mum/dad would be able to see ALL my hard work !
